What's included
In the price
Feasibility check
I check what each tool allows before promising anything.
Building the integration
The connection built, tested and running with your real data.
Error handling
If one tool fails, the connection retries and warns instead of losing data.
Monitoring panel
To see what was synced and when, without depending on me.
Warranty after delivery
If something breaks because of a mistake of mine within the agreed period, I fix it at no cost.
What isn't
Quoted separately
Tool licences
Some charge extra to allow connections. I'll warn you beforehand if that's the case.
Changes in other people's tools
If the other provider changes their system, adapting the connection is a new commission.
Closed tools
If a program allows no connection, there's no integration to build. I'll say so from the start.
What you get
01
The connection running
Actually syncing, with your data and your volume.
02
Documentation
What gets synced, how often and what to do if something fails.
03
Alerts set up
If the connection drops, you hear it by email instead of from a customer.
How we do it
- 01Days 1 – 3
Checking it's possible
I review what each tool allows. Sometimes the answer is no, and it's better to know now.
- 02Week 1
Defining what syncs
Which data, in which direction and how often. The clearer it is, the fewer surprises.
- 03Weeks 2 – 4
Building
I develop the connection and test it against a sandbox before touching your data.
- 04Final week
Go-live
We switch on with real data and watch the first days closely.
Price and payments
The price is fixed before we start, with the scope in writing, and split into several payments along the way. If halfway through you want to add something unplanned, I quote it separately — it never turns up on the invoice as a surprise.
First payment
At the start
On accepting the quote
It books the dates in my calendar and gets the work going.
Second payment
Halfway
With the main part signed off
Once you've seen and approved the bulk of the work.
Final payment
On delivery
When it's finished
With everything done and checked by you.
Common questions
Almost always, but not always. It depends on both allowing outside connections. I check before quoting, and if it can't be done I tell you without charging for the look.
The connection is encrypted and only moves the data strictly needed. If you handle personal data, we plan it with the regulations in mind.
No. What we sign is what you pay. If during the project you ask for something outside the scope, I tell you the cost first and you decide whether it goes in.
The dates get recalculated, at no extra cost. All I ask is that you tell me: I reserve the time in advance, so I can reorganise.
Copying data from one place to another?
Tell me which tools you use and what you'd like to happen on its own. I'll tell you if it's possible and what it would cost.
