What data I process
Only what you give me through the contact forms on either website or by writing to me directly: your name, your email, the project type or the subject, depending on the form, and the content of your message.
The IP address you send a form from is used for ten minutes, only in the server's memory, to stop automated mass submissions. It is not stored in any database or linked to your name.
What I use it for
- 01Replying to your enquiry and, if you ask, preparing a quote.
- 02Handling the job offers and collaboration proposals that reach me through the résumé.
- 03Keeping up the conversation that follows from them.
I do not use it to send you advertising or newsletters, build profiles from it or make automated decisions that affect you.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR). If the conversation turns into a project, processing then rests on pre-contractual steps and on the contract itself (art. 6.1.b). The per-IP submission limit rests on my legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (art. 6.1.f).
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me. Withdrawing it does not affect processing carried out before then.
How long I keep it
For as long as the conversation lasts and, once it is over, one more year in case we pick it up again. After that I delete it. If we end up working together, I keep what is needed for as long as tax and commercial obligations require.
Who else is involved
I do not share your data with anyone. To run the website I rely on these providers, which process it only to deliver their service to me:
- 01Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): hosts both websites on servers located in the European Union.
- 02Resend, Inc. (United States): delivers the message you send through the form to my inbox.
- 03Google (Gmail): the mailbox where I receive and keep messages.
Resend and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask me for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of its processing, object to it or request its portability by writing to hola@gerardcami.com. I will reply within one month at most.
If you believe I have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Minors
This website is not aimed at children under 14. If you are one, do not send me your data without your parents' or guardians' permission.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle data, I will update this page and the date shown above.
